Good evening Petsworth families! This is Mrs. Mygas calling with some announcements for the week ahead.
This Monday, February 26th, we will have our second Family Volleyball night from 6:30-8:00 pm for 4th and 5th grade students and their families. If you did not attend last Monday, you are still welcome to come tomorrow and join!
Also on Monday, Read-A-Thon sign up information will be coming home with students. Students may begin logging minutes for the Read-A-Thon beginning Friday, March 1st.
On Tuesday, February 27th, students in the North House will enjoy a picnic for being the second quarter House Champions! Students are welcome to pack a lunch on this day or purchase school lunch to enjoy during the picnic.
A reminder that early morning tutoring for select students in grades K-5th continues to occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning at 8am.
We will have Morning Movers on Wednesday morning and anyone is welcome to attend. We also have Pacers on Wednesday afternoon for select students who are signed up.
Looking ahead, the week of March 4th is Read Across America Week. Stay tuned to see more information about the fun activities that we have planned to celebrate!
