We would like to congratulate Victoria King for being selected to the 2022 VMEA Senior Honor Choir! Singers from all across the state auditioned for this prestigious choir. She will be performing at the upcoming Music Educators conference held next month in Richmond.
Congratulations to the Gloucester Marching Dukes on their performance this past Saturday. The Marching Dukes won 1st place overall in class 3 A also winning captions best music, best visual, best GE, best percussion, best color guard, and best drum major! In addition, the color guard earned 3rd place overall in the show. Way to go Marching Dukes!
The Competition Cheerleading team placed second in the region and qualified for the state competition. Congratulations!

Picture Day: Picture day for students in grades 9 thru 11 will be on Monday, October 24th and Tuesday, October 25th from 7:45 am - 2:15 pm in the GHS auditorium. Senior make-up/retake pictures will be on Thursday, November 3rd in the GHS auditorium from 9:00 am - 2:15 pm.
ATTENTION JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Admissions representatives from Gettysburg College and Bridgewater College will be conducting information sessions here at the high school this week for interested GHS Juniors and Seniors. To participate, please sign up through your Naviance account. Please see the Counseling Office if you have any questions.
College Application Week at GHS will take place this week, October 24th through 28th. Seniors who plan to enroll in post-secondary education can learn more about the events of the week and sign up for lab time to work on researching colleges, applying to schools, and learning about financial aid by viewing the announcement in the Gloucester High School Counseling HUB in Canvas. Please contact the School Counseling Office with any questions.
Girl's Basketball: Girls basketball will start their Open Gym every Tuesday from 3 pm to 4:30 pm during the month of October. All those that are interested should show up. Stop by and see Coach Eaton for details, Room B141.
Yearbooks: Yearbooks are now for sale through https://www.yearbookordercente... using code
4758. The current price is $50. There will be a price increase to $55 on 1/4/23. Senior ads are also available through the order center until 3/1/23. The yearbook sold out last year, so make sure to order before it’s too late! Contact Lauren Leszczynski, the yearbook advisor with any additional questions.
Activity Bus: Students who participate in after-school activities and need transportation after the regular school day ends may access the activity bus. The service will pick up students from Gloucester High school starting at 6:00 PM, Monday-Thursday. The service is not available on Fridays or on early dismissal dates. Students will report to the after-school buses no later than 5:50 PM with a pass to ride the after-school activity bus. There are two after-school activity buses that travel to specified locations throughout Gloucester County only. This service does not drop students off at their regularly designated bus stop. Parents or guardians should make arrangements to meet students at designated locations. You may review the bus stops serviced by going to the Gloucester High Schools website.
Parking Passes: Parking passes for the 2022-2023 school year are on sale now and can be purchased in the Gloucester High School main office. The cost for a parking pass is $52 dollars, via online thru School cash online site, cash, check, or money order made out to Gloucester High School. Please go to the Gloucester High School website to print out and complete the 2022-2023 Student parking pass application prior to coming into the main office to purchase your parking pass. If you purchase your pass using the School cash online site, make sure to bring in proof of the receipt, along with the completed 2022-2023 Student parking pass application. Students will be able to choose a numbered parking space
on a first-come, first-serve basis until all parking spots are sold for the 2022-2023 school year.
