How to Get FREE Meals This Summer
As summer approaches, many families are looking for ways to ensure their children have access to nutritious meals even when school is out. Here's how you can take advantage of free meal programs available this summer:
Summer School Meals If your child is attending summer school, they will receive breakfast and lunch from Monday through Thursday. This ensures that students have access to healthy meals during their school days, providing them with the energy they need to stay focused and active.
Weekend Meal Packs for Academic Summer School Students For students enrolled in academic summer school, there is an option to pick up 3-day meal packs for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. These packs can be collected at their summer school location between July 11 and July 25. This program helps bridge the gap on weekends, ensuring that students have meals throughout the entire week.
Weekly Meal Packs for Academic Summer School Students Additionally, academic summer school students can enroll to pick up 7-day meal packs on specific dates: June 27, July 3, and August 1. These packs provide a week’s worth of breakfast and lunch, offering a convenient solution for families during the summer months.
Meal Packs for Non-Summer School Students Children who are not attending summer school can also benefit from free meals. Starting June 27, families can pick up 7-day breakfast and lunch meal packs at designated summer school locations. This initiative ensures that all children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer, regardless of their summer school enrollment status.
These meal programs are designed to support families and keep children nourished and healthy during the summer break.
