Calling all adventure seekers of all ages (yes, that means you!) The Historic Gloucester Scavenger Hunt starts on Tuesday, March 21, and runs through April 13. Participation is easy – just click this link and follow the directions and clues. The link will open today, March 20, at 6:00 pm.
There are 18 Scavenger Hunt locations – 7 associated with Pocahontas & the Virginia Indians and 11 connected to the history of Gloucester County. Each location has a QR code to a website we encourage the scavenger hunters to visit to learn additional information about each historic site. Every hunter who submits a completed Scavenger Hunt Google Form by the end of the day on April 13th will be entered into a random prize drawing with prizes donated by Gloucester County businesses and organizations. Required questions for prize entry are marked with a red asterisk (*). Some locations have bonus questions too!
Enjoy learning about all of the amazing historical aspects of our home – Gloucester County. Special thanks to our collaborators in the fun – Gloucester Collaboration, The Pocahontas Project, and The Fairfield Foundation. Now go find out why we call Gloucester the Land of the Life Worth Living!
