Dear 3k & 8k Run/Walk Participants, Organizers, Community Supporters and Volunteers,
We regret to inform you that in collaboration with the Gloucester County Public Schools Educational Foundation leadership and in close collaboration with Local Agencies, the Gloucester County Public Schools has made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Educational Foundation’s 3K & 8K Run/Walk due to anticipated inclement weather.
Despite our initial intention for the event to proceed rain or shine, tonight’s incoming coastal storm is forecasted to bring excessive downpours and strong winds during the scheduled time.
This decision was not made lightly, considering the extensive planning and effort invested annually to support our students, teachers, and professional staff. However, prioritizing everyone's safety, particularly our student volunteers, is paramount.
Efforts are underway to contact all registered participants directly. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this unforeseen circumstance.
