RE: Special Election and Deadline for filing Declaration for Candidacy
The Special Election authorized by the court will be held in conjunction with the General Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
The deadline for candidates to qualify for the vacated At-Large seat on the Gloucester County School Board is Friday, August 18, 2023 as per the Code of Virginia regarding a special election to be held at the same time as a general election (See Virginia Code §24.2-507).
