•    Our program is fully online providing convenience and flexibility for working professionals.
•    We use the latest in collaborative online technologies (Zoom) to give you the benefits of a traditional face-to-face program with the convenience of online.
•    Our program offers seven week courses allowing students to focus on one course at a time and still complete two courses each semester.
•    Our Master’s program meets the Virginia licensure requirements for Pk-12. Administration and Supervision
•    Our new cohort for the Master’s degree will begin this Fall. The new EdD cohort will begin next January. Applications are being accepted for both programs now.

OLD DOMINION UNIV 25 ODU Monarch Lead PK-12 Educational Leadership Cohort Earn your M.S.Ed. or Ed.S. in Education with an Administration and Supervision Concentration in 4-5 semesters in the ODU Monarch Lead Cohort Program! • Live online program-Meet once a week in the evening for classes • Work full-time while completing the program Students engage in coursework that offers practical, research-based knowledge in the following areas : organizational leadership and management, leadership for organizational change and improvement, instructional practices for diverse leamers, professional development for school improvement, data-informed decision making, and curriculum leadershin.

The PK-12 Educational Leadership program offers Master's (M.S.Ed.) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degrees that prepare aspiring leaders for school and division-level administrative positions. The Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership prepares educational leaders for professional positions in PK-12 schools, faculty positions in higher education, research positions, and state and national policy-making.
The Educational Leadership Program uses a cohort model where you will attend live, online classes in the evening with the same educational leadership students throughout your program, joining class on the same day throughout all semesters. The unique online learning environment enables our students and faculty to engage in a class setting that simulates a face-to-face classroom.  Our program caters to full-time working professionals.

PK-12 Administration and Supervision license with a degree (M.S.Ed. or Ed.S.)
There are multiple cohort opportunities leading to a PK-12 Administration and Supervision license with a degree (M.S.Ed. or Ed.S.). Learn more here about our 30-credit degree programs.  M.S.Ed. & Ed.S.
 
Cohorts begin each semester and we are accepting applications for the Summer 2022 and Fall 2022 semesters. Students can complete the program in as few as 4 semesters.
 
Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership
Our next Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership Cohort begins September 1, 2022. We are accepting applications now, with a priority deadline of April 1. We will continue to accept applications until our cohort is full. Learn more here.
 
The Ph.D. in Education with a Concentration in Educational Leadership Cohort is designed for educational leaders working full-time in PK-12 schools and divisions and this is not a licensure program. PK-12 school leaders take classes as part of a cohort in which students discuss and research educational problems of practice and policy. Course content is designed to help students use research, theory, and their own professional expertise to advance organizational change in their own organizations. The Cohort program builds an intensive professional learning community in an executive-style accelerated doctoral program. Classes are held on Thursday evenings.
